I am Paul Ryan, the MD of RD Financial Recruitment. I have worked in accountancy for most of my professional career, which includes over 20 years of growing RD Financial Recruitment into one of the most respected accountancy recruitment firms in the Southeast.
I started my corporate accountancy career with Johnson and Johnson as an Accounting Trainee, and five years later I moved to a Market Analyst role before I joined Del Monte; there I developed my accounting knowledge and expertise with roles including Finance Analyst, Finance Controller, Finance Systems Manager and Consolidation and Strategic Manager. During my time at Del Monte, I became responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of the finance teams.
This experience taught me that there was a huge gap in the finance and accountancy recruitment arena, and there was a desperate need for a recruitment agency to understand, in-depth, the many varied finance roles growing organisations need. So, 20 years ago I launched RD Financial Recruitment based in Windsor.
During this time, I became the part-time FD of two expanding pharmaceutical companies helping them grow from scratch to organisations with a combined turnover of over £15M. It is this knowledge and expertise that has helped me support our recruitment clients and the thousands of candidates we have placed.
